what do you guys think....i think its a friendly forum ...filled with great expricened users and some average beginers like myself i think the mxture of newbies and masters of the hobby keep it going so strong...if it wasnt for this site i would be no where i pretty much learned everything i know from this site.../now i can run my own fish tank and keep it going the right way but we alll still need help here and there....i have met alot of great people on here...all of the moderators are great...everyone has always been pretty friendly and has answerd my qeustions now its getting to the point where i can answer questions also... this site is very differnt from others... the fish profiles are what helps alot ..and the cool forumers

It's like coming home! No really i mean that!! i have joined a couple of UK forums and they are good but so sooooooo quiet!!! so logging in here is just like that! I LOVE this forum, as i have said once before in another post i'm glad i found it and it is nice to be with oddballs!!! My LFS have been fab but this site alone and you guys have taught me so much. Again just like home!!

I'm an internet junky and I spend more time on Fishlore.com than anywhere else. I spent a good while lurking a few forums till I decided this was the best place to go. My knowledge and wisdom has grown exponentially since I started talking to people here. Before Fishlore.com I was just a generic fish hobbiest. Looking back at some of my first posts makes me think, "What was I thinking?". I like Fishlore.com so much that I'm sneaking this post in at work lol. The first thing I do when I walk in my house is fire up Fishlore.com so I can check the "Unread since last visit" list.

I love it because we can get on here, and mourn the loss of a fish and have others be sympathetic because they know that loss, we can show off pictures of fry and have other coo like they would for a human baby, beginners can show up and ask the exact same questions and still get patient answers every time, we can post our dreams about fish and have other people do the same, and even the Greats on here realize that there is so much more to learn, and do, and build.

I wish I could actually hang out with each and every person I've come into contact here, but since I can't, this is an okay substitute.

I like that it's a range of ages. Everyone treats each other with respect...nobody getting all cyber psycho on each other. Other fish forums we've been on it's like keeping fish was a competition. Jealous people...some people can't help if they have extra money to blow on fish stuff. This place is supportive...helloo?? Look at the post I've made in the short amount of time I've been here.
