It's boiling up here in Minnesota. Being land-locked has the disadvantage of extremes. It gets really, really hot in the summer, and cold enough that the polar sharks pack up and move somewhere warmer, like Antarctica, in the winter.

i was born in minnesota and lived there alot - it does get really hot but not nearly as hot as south carolinas and texas. LOL Miley

There's actually very little difference between the two. We usually have a month of weather in the 90's. Texas does have days above 100, but the average humidity down there is a ton lower, and it really sucks when it's hot out and your sweat isn't evaporating off of your skin. I think that's why Minnesota summers are so horrible. Yes, it's true, it's not the heat, it's the humidity.
Never been to South Carolina, and don't know anyone who's lived there, so I wouldn't know. I do know that I prefer summer in Florida to summer in Minnesota, though. Except that one day at the water park. That was awful.

I lived in Texas briefly a few years ago. I thought the big difference down there was that it doesn't cool off appreciably at night. It's friggin hot then too! Up here at least things cool down a bit once the sun goes down.

Well,well its summer the other side of the world!!

Ok todays not so bad,just windy and cold. But yesterday and last weekend especially, it was absolutely freezing. When you wash your hands the water is so cold it makes your hand sore and numb. Really!
But i cant say i mind the cold, heat too. But the weather i really cant take is humidity! Luckily its not really humid in my City!

i can send you more if you want, unfortunately there isnt snow but heres something close !!!

You MAY be the biggest nerd here (heehee) but I DO get the reference!! One of my favorite Christmastime shows! (BTW--I'm a Minnesotan too, but I grew up near Fargo-Moorhead. Now living in Grand Forks and for ND, it's been hot!)

I couldn't have said it better myself! I'm from Iowa, it gets a tad bit hotter here in the summer, but not as cold in the winter (a few degrees or so each season) I've been to northern Minnesota in the winter....it's enough to make you NEVER want to go outside again! But come to think about it.... cold weather sure sounds nice right now.....

It has been SO hot here lately. For the past week or two, it hasn't gotten below 90 during the day (the nights haven't been bad though). 89 degrees currently.

Nearly spring but its soooo cold even though the sun is out,which is very unusual escpecially for where I live its allways so hot here even in winter its never freezing...I'm not used to it.

OK, it's the rainy seson here on the gulf coast of Florida. The average daily temp is about 97 and it rains pretty much every afternoon, with usually a pretty impressive thunderstorm late in the day. Oh, and the daily humidity is around 95%.
