I'm finishing the last hundred pages of Half-Blood Prince... (I'm re-reading it so I don't forget). I pre-ordered the new Harry Potter... had it shipped to my house. I got it at 10:00 on Saturday, the day it came out.. and paid $20.99. All my friends stayed up and waited in line for HOURS and paid $19... I think I won.

You know... I bought all the books as they came out... but I could never get into them. Then I took a "Children's Literature" class and the last book we had to read was the first harry potter.. Then I got sucked in. I read books 1-6 in 14 days... that was last summer. So I kind of jumped on the band wagon a little late but oh well!

He has enough girl probs without all that nonsense Oh well, I read it all, but shhhh don't tell my husband I was only supposed to get no more than 2 chapters ahead of him (i'm reading it out loud to him, like I have all the other ones) and I finished it when we were back on like chapter 13. Well I started it yesterday at noon... and stopped reading at 2:30am. I'm on page 500ish if I remember correctly!! Now I just want to go to work and come home to read it and finish it up.

i did the same......pre-ordered it from amazon. cost ?11 or so, delivered to my house on the day of release, and i didnt have to drive out, park, queue and pay over the odds. i read the first 4 books or so when in hospital 5 yrs ago (very bored, so very good friend leant me the books) i read them all very quickly (not alot else to do in there!! i'm sure prison would've been more entertaining. at least they get cleaners and get tv's in their rooms and a gym etc etc!!), then just had to read the others as they got released. only prob is, i forget what happened in the previous book by the time the next one is out :!! the new one is in a queue!! i have a few other books (part of a series) to read first, THEN i will read HP. cant wait...in fact i'm off to get reading right now!!

Harry Potter is the best series ever. Yup I said it. Deathly Hallows was a fantastic finish. I felt like the story has made it's full circle.

My roomate is still reading it. I can barely contain my self. I want to talk about it, but alas I would never give anything away. I keep checking his place so I don't start talking ahead of him.

I should go buy it. I've read all the others and really liked them. The last one before this one was really great. The one before that I didn't like. I loved all the ones before that.
