Wooooow. Sabiiiii. He looks gorgeous! I'd love a QA but we simply don't have the room anymore. I'd seen them in my petstores and have been so tempted to get it. Useless at algae eating though, arent' they? But who cares, with looks like that, they could get away with being fry-eating plant-destroying monsters!

Thanks Anne!! I love the lil guy, i've named him Baadsha (King in arabic).
When i first got him he used to suck on the glass a lot but now i dont see him, maybe because he was very hungry then? And i guess he's still too small to destroy the plants, lol! But yep, i think even when he grows up and does that i'll still love him!

He's adorable. Our fancy pleco (the leopard cactus) was also on the glass a lot, but apparently not to eat algae. Kate explained that to me once, but I've forgotten why they do that.
That is a really cool name, by the way.

Thanks!
Really? I'm interested in finding out why they suck, not for algae.... I'll ask Kate. Thanks for mentioning!

I think I'll assume it's a female for now.
Oh, and I don't really name my fish, so I guess I won't name her either.

Here's another few pictures of my new fancy pleco. I'll post the exact name later.
One of them's terrible , but hey, there's no minimum quality requirements, LOL. I like it because you see the shrimp being nosy. The piece of driftwood used to be the shrimps' HQ, and got taken over by her since this week-end.
If you look upclose, you'll see how hairy she is! True sign of a night fish, hey.
