Any special care?

I just got an albino BN for my 28 because one of the CAE died the other night. I was just wondering if there is anything special you need to care for your BAN? I have some algae wafers already to feed it. It is about 1.5-2" in length(lots of time to grow ). Please help me because the first pleco I had became a stiff (literally) after about a day or two of having it in my 36 at the start. I have not that much experience with plecos in general so if you can advise, please feel free. Thanks in advance.

Re: Any special care?

It needs 90% vegetation(zucchini, cucumber, wafers, algae etc)/10% protein(shrimp pellets). It is great fun to watch them go to town on a slice of zucchinni.
Congratulations on the acquisition of a great little fish.

Re: Any special care?

Thanks. I was expecting you were going to be one of the first ones to respond to my post. I have a lot of questions.
How much would you give for fresh vegetables? How often?
Would I need to take the skin off first?
Would home grown vegetables but stored in the freezer for about a while be fine?
How long will it take to grow?
Do I need to supply any hiding places for it?
So far all it has done is just sit in a corner and sucked o the glass.
