he or she?

ok Ive always thought my albino bn was a girl fish even tho she has a few small bristles around her upper lip but i was looking at her when she was side by side with the other 2 bn ( boy and girl) and apart from the bristles she is the same size and shape as the boy fish ( the happy dad of mybn hatchlings) and both r bigger than the girl bn ( mom of said hatchlings) so i was wondering if she is actualy a boy or just a beefy girl...

She looks like a female to me. I mean male usually have bigger brittle then that. At least in my experience. I've had a few over the years and male have nice big brittle.

well she is the same size as the male and he has loads of big bristles but she is alsobigger than the famale who is old enough to spawn and has spawned twice so i would have thought she was an adult

Some females have bristles but only get them around the lip like that one has. Males will have them all over the face and up between the eyes.
I would say she is a female.

Seems albinos come in all different shades of yellow and orange. Maybe it depends on which species they are albinos of.
