Ok Hendrix is my baby, first fish I ever got, but I don't see him much cuz he's a chicken.

Anyways I came home from going out with some coworkers tonight. I flipped on my light and usually when that happens 1 of 2 things will happen.

1. My dog, Misty, will jump up on my chair and stare into the fish tank and scare him off.
or
B. The lights come on and Hendrix goes in his log.

Well tonight was different he just stayed on the glass so I though it would be a perfect time to measure him. And the result a whopping 8".

I was seriously amazed. He grew about 7" in only 4 months. No clue if that's normal or not, but hey I figure I must be treating him right. Or there's steroids in the water. Well I thought I'd get him on camera this time but naw he went back in his log and hid.

Just thought I'd share.

That is fairly common for the common (and sailfin) plecos. Mine went from 1/2 inch to 7-8 inches within about 3-4 months last summer.
