| I woke up this morning and did my usual inspection of the tank to make sure everyone was healthy and swimming around ok when I noticed that one of the hatchlings had excaped from the cave with dad ( as far as I can tell the others r still wriggleing under there as I can just see a bunch of tails) It was busy munching away on the alge on a plant leaf!!!
As you can see its very small and the blob next tro it is a small snail |

| Yep this is pretty much how it goes  You will see one then in a couple of days you'll see another then after a bit they'll all be out and about. It won't eat much until all of it's egg sac is absorbed but if it's attempting to eat it will be ok.

| lol @ takeing over the tank like the mafia... actualy i was thinking about selling them to a pet store for credit towards fish food and stuff and..... I was able to look at them again today and there are about 40 of them!!!!! |

| I've had fry hang out in the spawning cave for up to a week before venturing out on their own. They'll go when they're ready, no harm done in the meantime. |

| Well I thought I would share latest pics of the new babies... they are just starting to get bold and explore slightly, they havent actualy left the cave yet but I think they r getting ready to. and I did try the putting of food close to the cave entrence but the dad was mean and kept moveing it away and then eating it himself...... |
