Todd... received the wee BNs today and they are just having a ball in their new home....the two browns jumped on each other when they finally got into the new tank and proceeded to lay out their new territories.... at least that's what I hope they were doing.... they finally settled down after I threatened them with the fly swatter... all's quiet on the western front now....thanks again...Martha

Shame on you, threatening those little fish with a fly swatter. You'd be jumpy too if you spent a couple days in a small, dark bag with 3 other inmates you couldn't see... LOL

Todd....Do you think they were REALLY scared...or did they just think --- I wonder what that silly women is doing now... doesn't she look dignified for a preacher's wife.... I wonder why we were taken out of a perfectly great home...sent thousands of miles away and plopped into a different place entirely.... Why didn't anybody ask me if I wanted to be sent here..
Now look at that silly women waving a flyswatter.... doesn't she know I'm NOT a fly? I don't look anything like a fly... What a ding-a-ling!!

IME fish generally react (if they react at all) to people in 2 ways. They either dive for cover when something so much larger than they are comes too close, or get excited at the possibility of food. I really doubt a fly swatter makes much of an impression unless it moves quickly in their direction.

I really wasn't going to use it anyway...lol.. I guess you already figured that out... Today they are quietly going around the tank and eating the zuchini, the algae tablet and the summer squash... taking turns like the little gentlemen that they are.... They have faces that only a mother could love and I've definately fallen for them.... thanks again for the babies...Martha
