Pleco for a 20 gallon

I was wondering which type of pleco would suit my tank the best. A bristlenose or a rubber lip? My tank is unheated though and I have heard the bristlenose do best in a heated tank. The temp usually stays around 72.
Also, I know this isn't a pleco but maybe I was thinking of getting a couple hillstream loaches. I've read about them, that they need oxygenated/high current water, and that seems to fit my tank slightly. What would you guys suggest out of the three?

if its the 20 gal in your info, theres no room for any pleco..even the smaller ones will throw off the tank parimeters awful with their bioload and the fish you have...imo a 20 gal is too hard to keep prestine with any plec and usually its more for cories or ottos

Actually I think I might try like some shrimp or a different type of snail. I don't want to overload my tank. Thanks for the responses!
