Welcome. Sorry you're having problems. What is the temp in the tank? What are the water parameters (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate)?

I am sure you will get info from somebody that knows more about this than me but it may just take them some time to recover. Hang in there till one of the experts comes along and welcome to Fish Lore.

Welcome to FIshlore,
sorry it's on a bad note though.

That's pretty hot. When the water temp rises the oxygen levels get very low. Do you have a bubble wand or airstone in there??. If not it might be a good idea to do so now. Is it still hot?? What is the temp as of right now??
I wouldn't put them down yet. I would wait and see if they can come out of it. Plecos can be pretty tough.

Since the temp is back to normal there should be enough oxygen in the water. I would just keep their water super clean since they are going to be stressed you don't want them to come down with another illness on top of this. Keeping the water clean can help prevent this. I would just give them some time and see if they can pull out of it.

I'm so sorry your mom is upset. It's not her fault at all and heater malfunction all the time. I had a heater malfunction and it killed two of my Dwarf puffers. I was very upset but these kind of things happen. What kind of heater was it??
On the waterchanges I would do a small waterchange maybe 20% everyday just to keep the water super clean. I wouldn't put food in there now. It might just dirty the water. I would try to feed them tomorrow though. I really hope they pull through this. It's very hard to watch them suffer but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for them. Let your mom know it's def not her fault and was out of her control. Good luck with them and please keep us posted.
