| New Mango Pleco ;-)
Well, I went to the LFS and my sis turned in some more platy babies while I looked around... Sure enough I found the very same Pleco that my sis wanted to buy me last time she was in there. I was told it was a yellow seam Pleco, they werent too sure which one it was. I did some research, and with the greenish body.. and wide yellow stripe on the fins I have determined that it is a Mango Pleco. Im pretty psyched about finally having a cool looking Pleco. Its still pretty small and its now hanging by the filter tubes so trying to get a photo that isnt blurry just isnt happening tonight.  But he/she is a cutie for sure. Thank You Mare!  
Hopefully I will be able to get photos of it soon.. or will have to have my sis use her terrific camera for me.  Its been awhile since Ive had new fish in the tank so this is big for me! lol... and I wanted to share!  |

| oo its a wee one for sure, prob only around 2-2.5 inches in length. lol..
edit:
on second thought.. looking at it closer I'd say it was more closer to 3 inches.

| From what I read, they can get to 12 inches. At least its not going to be as big as the common Plec's. lol I hope he/she makes it.... | |

Last beaut that I saw was a large Green Neon.. that was absolutely beautiful. but ... at 69 dollars just a bit too much for my poor blood! lol..
I really am looking forward to getting some good photos. Since he just came in this afternoon and hiding up by the filter tube, guess it just needs to acclimate for awhile. So far the Parrots have been curious only.. have to watch those guys, they are brats lol. | |

I woke this am not able to find the Pleco anywhere, I know that it will be hiding out for awhile and sure enough I found it under a rock cave on top of the driftwood.. hes fine! whew...
But where he is there is no way I will be able to photograph him, but will try if I see him out and about. Heading to work in an hour, so its going to be much later before I can try for a photo.

Thats what I did, I googled them in order to see what they will look like as they mature. It looks like a Gold Nugget without the white spots. But.. its still a baby no telling what colors or spots it will develop as it ages.

Even tho they are smileys some are not so nice IMO the one shaking the butt is one that I personally take offense to. So they are not necessarily innocent on account of just being a smiley.
