Hi,

I purchased a bristlenose pleco a week a go, but it never leaves the corner of the tank. Even when i put an algae wafer in the tank. I have a 14 inch Malaysian driftwood in there, but it doesn't go there. I also have a cave i made out of a pile of rocks. The aquarium is planted around the driftwood.

Are you looking in the tank when the lights are off at night?

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I should look at it when my lights is off more often. Thanks

No problem. My clown only comes out at night. My common is always out.
Depends on the type & particular fish.

Well when I went to my LPS, the bristlenoses in there wiggled away as soon as someone came near the tank, as Amanda saidm they're usually way more active at night
