Okay thats what i was wondering.I got this from the LFS and told me it was an albino BN,but the more i thought about it AFTER i took it home ..was it really gonna stay small..other wise i would just return him( but i.m in love)
I have it in my 10 gal fry tank now and i'm getting a 45 gallon later in july to put him/her in and was hoping it wouldn't just bloom to 12 inches before that LOL
i also have a 36 gal bow to put him in just in case but thats one is kinda close to it's capacity

Thank-you!

Yes its an albino bristlenose. Not a longfin though. I have some and it looks like a female? My bristlenoses are full grown at 4 inches.

If they are old enough the males will have bristles the females have very very little ones. My guys gals spawned, so I have seen from fry size up, they grow them as they mature.
the reason I could tell my bristlenoses apart was the ones I bought were over a year old and the male had a full beard.
