The Aggression of my BN's

i just bought an albino BN today, about the same size as my other BN, and they are not being to friendly to each other. they are on the side of the tank at the moment and are waving their tails at each other.

they are fighting right?

should i put in 2 pieces of zucchini instead of 1 to even everything out?

any other suggestions?

Whichever one is biggest will be dominant and whale on the smaller one. I have 2 Bristlenose in 3 seperate tanks and it's the same with all of them. They don't actually hurt each other, but the dominant one will always get the food and territory that it wants.

i just put in 2 zucchini pieces just in case. the new Albino BN is ever so slightly bigger, ever so slightly, and he is the one backing down. the common BN knows the tank much better, is this a suggestion? i just hope these 2 BN live to see bristles on their nose, a lot of my BN's died so quickly, i reckon it was the heat, there was a heat wave last summer.

Good morning. I've never been able to keep more than 1 Pleco per tank. Times I have had 2 in the same tank 1 didn't survive. (Just my experience) Good luck and I hope they are going to be ok. A beautiful fish!

i agree, i love the common pleco, but my tank is not big enough and they cost a literal FORTUNE here.
