mr. Clown Loach

ok my bulldog pleco is staying in the back behind a plant and won't come out he hasn't moved for like 4 days. he's eating the algae on the galss where he is so he's healthy atleast, but he never leaves and i'm kind of getting worried... can ya'll tell me if this is normal??

most plecs are nocturnal and dont care for company or lights ....as long as your water parimeters are good, and you dont see any obvious boo boo's on him, id say he is fine

My Rubber Spotted (another possible name for the Bulldog) took about 6 months to get comfortable with me in the room. Still I have to move slowly and he is still shy. I think its just the breed.

i barely ever turn the light on in the taank and when i turn it on its already in the back on top of my algae scrubber whcih now that i noticed i don't even need anymore lolcheese

It will take some time before they get comfortable. I remember celebrating th first time I saw it eating a cucumber, that was MONTHS after I put it in the tank.
