L# or LDA#

Gold Spot Dwarf Pleco - Parotocinclus spilosoma

looking for an L# or an LDA# for this little gut can you guys and gals help me out here

Hi Thumper,
So I might be totally wrong about this but Plecos are issued L numbers because they are awaiting a scientific name...This pleco already has a scientific name..Parotocinclus spilosoma The L number is then retired...so I don't think it has a L number.....But like I said I might be wrong about it..Carol would probably know. I'm sure she'll see this and help ya out.

from what isee on planet catfish even the ones with scientific names still have the l#s

If you could give me an example of this that would be great....
All I can see is they list their family name and then either a scientific name or a L number.

Like My L-144's are a species of Ancistrus . but dont' have a specific name for just them so they use L144.... http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog...species_id=905

I think those Gold Spots pictured above may be Albino Common so look at L021 & L023

found out why no L# cause they are really classified as an oto!! just like the pitbull pleco!

found the L# number it is a 187b was just doing research on them to see if i wanted to see if i want to add one when my tank if fully cycled!
