Oh my gosh, he MOVED!

I never would have believed it if I didn't see it!
I have had him for about 2 weeks and...
HE MOVED!!!
He actually came out of hiding!
My Pleco was on one of my ornaments for about 30 seconds and then went back to his hiding place under the driftwood. AND he also changed positions under there a couple times!
HOW EXCITING!!!
My Pleco actually moved! And I saw it this time!

(um, am I making a mountain out of a mole hill or do other people feel the same excitement when their Pleco comes out of hiding for the first time?)

I do feel the same way too! I actually just saw mine move too!!

I usually have to pull the pirate ship up then he'll take off and come right back. I never see him otherwise. Half the time I don't know if he's dead or alive.

But just a little while ago I fed the others and noticed that some of the food does eventually drift into the holes of the ship the I saw some tail fins moving around. I guess he gets all the food he needs that way and has no need to come out to get any! Lazy clown pleco! I'm happy that I saw part of him at least!

Our otto cat is out and about all the time! He's always busy doing something!

My otto is in with one of my betta's so that might be why he keeps a low profile. Coolie usually doesn't bother him but I think that when he get's bored he harasses everything in the tank b/c I just saw he picking on one of the snails.

hehe

Well, since my Pleco was introduced two weeks ago, he seems to be doing well. Now that he feels comfortable enough to come out of hiding, I am confident that they will all get along. He is only in with a family of Platies and a bunch of snails.
