| That chart is old and mostly wrong. I found it years ago.
Look what it says betta can go with. Search Results: The Betta (Siamese Fighting) should be kept in groups of a maximum of 1 and is compatible with the bala shark, Corydoras Catfish, Glass Catfish, GloFish, Molly, Pearl Gourami, Platy, Rainbow Shark, Red Tailed Shark, Swordtail, Three Spot Gourami, Upsidedown Catfish, Zebra Danio, |

| i suppose it CAN be kept with them but it isnt recommended, it looks like this is a website where people send in the information, and it may have been sent in by someone who has had some very good luck with a betta in a community tank. |

They could eat a betta.
Actually Betta aren't compatible with hardly any of those fish. Rainbow sharks would probably fin nip as would danios. Gouramis and betta are both aggressive labyrinth fish and don't pay well together.
Fish compatibility should be compared in generalnot by one or few people's good luck. Last edited by Allie; November 1st, 2008 at 11:37 AM.

| Betta are not an easy fish to keep. I would NOT recommend them as a beginners fish at all.
We've kept our commons with our blue panque, snowball, Blue phantom and clown plecos. They all did fine. |

I don't recommend a Sultan pleco has we had one and at 2" he got kind of mean...a common would fight with him. |
