I've had a common pleco now for about 3 days and he is doing great and is highly active. I constantly find him in different places around the tank, almost like he is searching for places to graze. So I put in an algae wafer on a clip and within the first 5 minutes he is on the other side of the tank. To test my theory I moved the wafer over to the side he was on and after about another 5 minutes he was on the other side of the tank again. Any suggestions on another good supplement for him or should I give it more time?

Give it more time hes still just exploring his new home. my plecs didnt start taking algae discs till like after 3 weeks!!

algood.. i like plecos cool fish.
Try sum zuccini slices or cuccumber if its stil relativly small.

If you can find Omega One or New Life Spectrum wafers, I've seen our plecos respond much more to those than other wafers.
