Do the rubbernose plecos eat algae?

Awesome! My dad wanted 2 common plecos for our 55 gal (I told him absolutely not), but he liked the rubbernoses too, so we're getting those instead. I just wanted to make sure they'd get the job done!

How big do the rubbernoses get? Will they get along with Comet goldies?

If I remember right they get up to 6". My 10 gal had algae covering about 1/6 of the glass, and it was gone within days.

They get 4-5 inches long. If you keep the temp of your tank in the low to mid 70's they should do fine with goldfish
