im so proud of my little guy!... or girl... he/she was sucking on his algae disc when along comes a platy and guppy and the bn just chases them away and gets back to his food! he used to be so scared of them

LOL! Mine allows no one to touch his food. It's so funny watching him flapping around and chasing the fish away!

my pleco must me abit of a push-over, he lets everyone eat his cucumber :P

Maybe they need an assertiveness training class for plecos?

actually now i am a little worried. he seems too aggressive. he chases the other one all over the tank and seems to wait for fish to try and eat his food by hiding and then attacking them if they even get close.

Have you tried rearranging the tank decor? Changing the territory around may curb his aggressive behavior, hopefully.
