Pleco Photos.....Finally!!!!

Okay, I finally was able to get some rough pics and post them for you guys. Sorry for taking so long. Anyways, these are not great quality pics by any means, but at least you can see what the little buggers look like, lol. Actually, let me re-phrase that.....the pics are downright awful, but they are better than nothing. Hopefully when they start to spend more time out in the open, I can get some better shots. Its hard to photograph them when they are at the back or sides of the tank cause I get a ton of glare. Oh well. I want to get some moonlights soon since they are nocturnal I can watch them move around at night. All the plecos are between 2 and 3 inches right now. Here are the plecos I currently have in this tank:

L66 King Tiger Pleco
L129 Scrible Pleco
L177 Queen Gold Nugget
L201 Inspector Pleco
L270
Orange Spot Pleco
Big Spot Pleco
Clown Pleco

Thanks for looking

Thanks Shawnie! Those pics were such a pain to take. It was frustrating because they hid for the first week that I had them. Yesterday I did a water change and rearranged the tank and it made such a difference. They are spending a lot more time out in the open now. Its kinda funny because plecos are supposed to be relitively territorial (I got the most peaceful kinds I could), but mine spend most of their time "cuddling" together in the tank. They are such cuties

Thanks Dave! I am glad that you guys can appreciate how cool they are. I told my sister about them and all she could say is that she could never imagine spending that kind of money on fish no matter what they look like. Glad you guys like em

Which one is this?

The best way to get a pick of a pleco is to actually take them out of the tank...maybe in a smaller tank. Some of mine actually pose...you just gotta have patience.
Oh and a clean glass helps too lol

Thanks Shawnie Its funny cause I used to think plecos were boring too. Probably because all Petco and Petsmart carry are the common plecos, and even thought hey can be cool, they are pretty drab as far as their coloration goes. It wasn't until I started seeing some of the more rare plecos that I started really appreciating them.

Yeah I totally needed to clean the glass at the time when I took pic I had just done a waterchange and when I saw the pleco sitting there I just grabbed my camara. I might try putting them in my 2.5 gallon killifish tank (obviously taking my killifish out first) and taking some pics. I guess if there are not many spots for them to hide it would definetly be easier to take pics.
