With a heavy heart I went to my LFS and made a trade of my chocolate pleco for a clown pleco. This was only the second time I had ever been in the store, and I was very impressed. It's not that big, 900 gallons altogether the manager said. The teenage guy that was also working surprised me by being VERY knowledgable on all things fish. His first priority was getting my choc. pleco in a heated tank. The manager was very nice & seems to really know what she's talking about. They also carried Tetra Safe Start, so I just added that to my tank this afternoon. So all should be well established I'm thinking by Wed. Then I'll SLOWLY start stocking it.

I'm glad you have a good LFS nearby. We finally found a good one here that just opened up and love it. Your chocolate pleco is going to get a good home where he can grow.
