Bristlenose vs. Rubberlip

I just bought a rubberlip pleco for my 55g tank. I was wondering how good of an algae eater they are. Are bristlenoses any better? I have enough of room in my tank to add a bristlenose if the rubberlip doesn't keep up on the algae. Can they be housed together? The tank is big and has PLENTY of caves and such for them to hide in so i don't think territory would be an issue. Does anyone know which type keeps up with the algae best? Or are neither any good?

I've not had rubberlips, but our bristlenoses love the algae.

Haha. I agree. I think the bristlnoses are a little ugly. That's why i got the rubberlip. But will either of them clean the algae off plant leaves? I have a 55g tank that has lots of light so the algae grows fast and I think i may get a bristlenose to help the rubberlip out.

Rubber lips are quite chunky and heavy so if your plants are real, they might break your plants.

Well that won't be a big problem. The plants need to be broken. They are growing like crazy! They love all the light. That will just save me some trimming lol (As long as they don't break too quickly.)
