I have had my tank cycling for about 1 month now. checked water all levels OK. pH around 7.5 to 8 a Little high. i purchased 1 Pleco Catfish . last night , checked this morning doing fine and already starting to clean algae of glass. it is about 1 1/2 inch long will keep him in my 10 gallon tank till he gets about 2 1/2 inch. then i will get bigger tank for him.

Excellent! Do you know what kind of pleco you have? If it's a common pleco, he could easily get over a foot long.

I don't know. But it is the same one that is under fish profile, under tropical fish infomation.

Comman plecos grow about an inch a month and once they are four inches as long as they are in the ten gallon there growth will be seriously stunted, so you can do the math and you have about 2.5 months to get a bigger tank ready for him.
