My plecos all do the same exact thing they randomly swim to the surface and back down to where they were originally i dont know why they all do it, also my iriddescent sharks do it to sometimes i want to know why they do it please help?

also...if your tank is 87F , theres way less oxygen then your fish need...you should bring that down to about 79-80 slowly

Yea, I would recommend dropping down to 78F and adding aeration to the tank.

they may need more oxegan in the tank or just feel like getting extra :-)

oxygen thats the key maybe you should think about getting a bubble wand or droping the tanks water level down a bit. hope i helped

I have one coral air one foot long bubble wand one air action clam and one diver action air so i have proper airation and the temp i at 80 degrees.
