Golden Albino Plecos Arrived

When I saw these babies, just knew I had to have them. I just received 7 lf albino and 12 reg fin albino plecos. They are all a beautiful golden color. All are just under 2 inches, so I have no idea what sex I have...I just know they are gorgeous.

For now they are in quarantine, but will move to more permanent homes in a few weeks. I know the tank is a borderline for size, but I will keep close tabs on the water conditions.

I have one (reg.fins) and agree they're beautiful.

Lucky you to have all those babies. Love the longfins!

They are just beautiful and seem to hold their golden color even as adults.

I ws gonna get some too as my new cleanup crew for the big tank, but the ones at my LFS were $24.00! My dad would flip if I bought even one

Thanks for all the compliments. I can only take credit for buying - not breeding. Maybe in a year or so, I'll (they'll) be breeding.

Carol, I was told they stay golden, now I know it is true. Thanks

TFA101, They are pretty pricey here too. Cory got one but managed to get for halfprice. Not sure how he did it other than he is a regular customer. I found these on aquabid. Shipping is what gets ya there!

The care instructions said to wait to feed them until they started eating algae. Well these little ones were allover the holey rock (not real) eating the algae almost as soon as they were out of the bag. * So, I gave them som zuchinni this evening. It was only minutes before they were snacking.

I am lovin' these little ones.

* I have noticed a big difference in the vitality of fish shipped overnight with those shipped priority. The price is such a huge difference, but thinking it may be worth it.

Lucky you!!! The BNLF pleco is my absolute dream fish -- I have a pic I downloaded up on my bulletin board over the computer ( what a loser, eh??--ha ha). I am going to get mine of Aquabid as well, but only want one...........but most sell them in multiples. I guess I could always sell them to someone here. My tank should be up and running in a week, so it won't be long now!

Good luck with them. They are sooooo neat!

voiceless kat, I am sure you could sell the extras, however; there is a guy - fishnfry - in Canada who actually has some. I emailed with him a few days ago but we decided it would be easier to find them here. He's got pm, so you can email him through here. Good luck. I am SO glad I found them.
