It's a boy!

Got my Rio Ucayali BN pleco last fall and have never been sure if it's male or female.

I haven't seen it for quite awhile (lots of driftwood/rocks in my tank) but a few days ago it was out in the front of the tank, and it now has bristles sprouting from the top of the snout. So it's a boy!!

I'm trying to imagine how my non-fishy friends would react to this exciting news bulletin!

LOL.. Yea, one of our albino lfbn is just starting to develop bristles and I'm excited but most people we know would think I'm nuts.

My friends already think it's weird that I have more than one tank. They act like I've developed OCD or something.

I just don't get it.

I told them to visit this board, if they think I have a lot of tanks.
