Our hasn't either and we've had him since the summer. Does he have driftwood in the tank? BNs like to eat wood along with regular pleco food.

Bristlenoses, especially the common sp.3, do grow very slowly.

My albino has hardly grown at all in the months I've had him even though he gets plenty to eat and looks very healthy.

yeah well its been sometime since this post and it still hasnt grown ok maybe like 1mm lol but not much at all it gets veggies 1 or 2 times a week. i give it bottom feeder pellets once to twice a week. I also bring algae covered rocks from my pond to keep it busy. Its had a drift wood since i bort it and it also has a cave under the driftwood wat else can i do i think i have had it at least for 6 months. atm its 1 inch and a half so very small.

We have 2 albino LFBNs. We can tell that one has grown a little bit since we got them a few months ago, but the other seems the same size almost. Both eat good and act healthy.

some plecos dont grow very much the bristlenoeses may just take longer to grow and may be dwarfing itself in a 10g tank

Protein protein protein.....try feeding them NLS....my first two spawns seem to take forever to get to a size I felt safe selling them.....batches 3-6 (didn't pull the female fast enough) have reached the same size in a third of the time. I discovered this because I had stuck one in a tank where I have moscow guppy fry growing out so I was overfeeding to get growth on them. As an experiment I seperated several into another tank and started feeding NLS along with algea wafers and zuchinni....after some more research I discovered that ABN are "oppertunistic feeders" meaning they will eat just about anything......babies need protein! I'm a firm believer in that now.....along with the very happy 200 baby pleco's i'm currently growing out!
