Pleco, Veggies and Algae Wafers

How long should I leave a cucumber or algae wafer in the aquarium? My pleco takes about a day to approach new foods.

I have a 55 gallon cycled tank with a pleco, six Cherry Barbs and three guppies.

I'd say you need to drop his food nearer to his favourite hideout. I leave my cuccumber in half a day...

I put mine in at lights out then remove it the next day if theres any left

Thanks - he went for it during the day today and ate all of the insides out of the cucumber slice. Pretty cool! i was even able to get a good picture.
