What plecos stay around 9-12" all I need are names my friend wants to know and he needs to know really soon as i am going to my LFS tomorrow and I might get it for him. Please respond all I need are names we will do the rest of the research and dont worry about anything else he has that taken care of thanks.

commons usually stay that size, though once in a while you may find a monster. Or sailfin (gibbiceps) plecos, I think they stay the same size too.

Go to www.planetcatfish.com and search on the L and LDA numbers. This site is probably the best source for information on plecos. Royal plecos get about that size and are beautiful.
