Wow, I have never seen anything that looks like that before.
I have had many bettas die from tumors, but they were always in the gills.

Maybe a womb prolapse? I have no idea, just it's the right shape and right size for one?

Has the fish given birth lately?

As I said in your other thread, it's a prolapse of some kind, intestinal or womb. I'd go for womb as it's about the right shape.
If it's female, has sh given birth recently?

I'm sorry something is wrong with your platy.

I've merged your 2 threads and deleted your post from another member's thread.

I know you're worried, but please, only one thread per topic and don't hi-jack other member's thread.

kk sorry bout that but I needed to get someone's attention. Any ways, as far as I know my platy has only given birth once because I only have 2 females and it was like over a month ago.

Starting multiple threads doesn't get your quesion answered any quicker. In fact it becomes confusing for all involved and it's rude to hi-jack a thread where someone is having a problem and looking for their own answers.

What can I do for my platy to help her if it's a prolapsed womb?

I don't know that much about it. Not sure if this would help, but before any fish can hurt her, it would be a good idea to put her in a Q tank.
I've read that fasting for a few days might help. Then feed a couple bits of thawed frozen shelled pea. If it's constipation that's causing the pressure, it might help.
I've also read that sometimes this condition will resolve it's self, sometimes not.....

Good luck, I hope she recovers.

Veggies (peas) in your frozen food section of your local grocery store.

Do you know if thawed snow peas will do?

I don't know if snow peas will have the same effect as green peas, sorry but veggies are good for fish.

I'd give the snow peas a try. It wouldn't hurt and as Lucy said veggies are good for fish.

She's dead :(

Well... she's dead She was one of my first in that aquarium...I feel so bad She was my favorite platy ever and I'll always remember her. She never harassed any of the other fish not even her fry who came close to her with confidence... The worst part is...is that I found her as I was going to feed her
