| not breeding
i have a male and a female platy that completely ignore each other. i want them to breed. how do get them to?
i successfully breed mollies and i breed guppies. are these guy any different?
also my mollies have been mating non stop for like 3 or 4 weeks and my guppies have been completely ignoring each other as well. one of the males is old and all the other males a very young, and i only have one adult female gupp and all the rest are really young, but they are not related to the older ones in any way. any suggestions? |

| Usually by adding around 3-5 females will entice the male to become "stimulated".
Platies are no different, although I do find them to be much hardier than their guppy and molly cousins.
It's usually a fish's decision to mate and breed, so you really have no power over this.

| yes, there ware new ones with david tennant. did u see season 3 with martha (played by Freema Agermen) and season 4 with donna (played by Katherine Tate)? there are 2 new ones, a x mas special, return of the cyber men and the easter special called planet of the dead. there is 3 other specials that haven't come out yet. one of them is called water on mars.
there is only specials now cause david is doing a movie and doesn't have much time on his hands. | |
