hi everyone, this morning I woke up and what did I find? platy fry swimming in the tank! they are soooo cute and little. any tips would be greatly appreciated! I am going to try to catch them and put them in the breeder net! I'm so happy that I'm a grandpa! -fishlover78

feed them finelly crushed fish food. I would suggest getting a breeder box because it is easier to clean than a net.

lots of hiding spots like plants would help if you dont net them...goodluck gramps!

I usually get a fry specific food for the first few weeks of their lives. It works well and is easy to ration. Feeding 3 or so times a day is what is recommended. Once they drop that "fry" look I switch them to crushed flake. Ive never lost a fry, so I must be doing something right.
