My pregnant platy girl had already had 5 babies two weeks ago, but she still looked very much pregnant so I assumed she had not dropped all of her fry. Now she is head standing behind a fake plant... is she about to give birth again?

I would guess that she may be going to give birth. Our Tiger Platies do the headstanding or verticle positions in the plants when they are ready to drop.

At least I figured out that one of my friends has an empty tank... so, I convinced him to cycle it, (because he wont give it away lol) he will keep the girls, I will keep the boys and this is it with platy fry!
