Do you think my platy is pregnant?
I just picked 2 more up tonight and one looks pregnant?
I'm new to fish in general so this would help.

It could be, hard to tell with the blurriness lol, or maybe it was fed a lot (they tend to over eat) keep an eye on her though and maybe you will have some babies soon =)

what's a cheap substitute for plants b/c i don't want to put them her in a breeders net, i heard a loofa can work just as well. I can kind of see black dots moving in belly but i dont know if this is just internals.

Ive never heard of using a loofa lol, maybe a sponge filter (which is similar to a loofa) if you arent going to put the fry in a net make sure you have a sponge prefilter on you filter tubes and cut down the waterflow, otherwise they will get sucked up or blown around a lot =(
