Ok, my three platies will just not stop hiding in my tank! they are the biggest fish in there (also have guppies and otos), nothing and nobody is doing anything to them!

is there any way to make them not hide like that anymore? they seem to hide specially when my bf and I are close but we have never done anything to them and nothing traumatic has happened to them either? they have plenty of food,(they are a little picky lol) the water is perfect... what could possibly be wrong with them?

I think you kinda answered your own question. I used to have plaies that would do the exact same thing. They are sometimes shy, especially when poeple are around, but I dont blame em. Think about it, we're like, a hundred times their size, they have a reason to fear us. Try approaching the tank slowly, then gradually increase speed so they know you're not there to harm them.

yes... i was wondering because my guppies come and greet me! so.. it is just on the platy nature! poor guys!
