Prego Platy

I think I have 3 prego platys. I have never had any fry and have had this bunch of fish since Jan. I think when they relase the fry the Angelfish eats them or the pleco. Anyway they are dark red I can not see any black spots for the eyes anywhere on them but 1 was fat then got skinny and stayed at the bottom for a few days and nows shes really fat again, 1 is huge and she has some white on her underside it looks like someone took a red marker and dotted her with it on her belly. I don't have any of those breeder things, but I do have a 5 gallon tank with extra fake plants and rocks along with a heater and a Azoo palm filter (was for my betta but he decided to commit suicide while I cleaned his tank a few days back) Should I move the 3 platys that I think are prego? Since the 5 gallon tank I did take down the cycle is pretty much gone can I take some water out of my main tank?
I have tried and tried to get pics but they just wont hold still for any I can try a video but I cant tell much from them.

I f you want to keep the fry, I would recommend it. Its better than nothing. MAke sure to plant it heavily and keep the lights out on the tank.

sorry if the quality sucks I can not figure out how to take video or pics of my fish I can my goldfish but not this tank.

I went ahead and set up my 5 gallon put lots of plants (fake thats all I have) and also have a head decor that has opening for eyes and mouth that the fish can hide in. I did leave the gravel in the tank that it had before all the plants were out of another tank. I used half the water from the main tank and half from tap along with added prime so hopefully the cycle is ok. No light on temp is 81 same as main tank. Azoo Palm filter adjusted to high for now if I see fry will adjust it to low. I figure the bigger fish would drop before the other 2 smaller ones. How long should I leave them in this tank. I dont want to stress them out by moving them back and forth.

Welcome to Fishlore.

Do daily water changes of about 25% on that 5g until it's cycled. The pregnant platy can be in there until she drops her fry. As long as you don't move her the week before she drops, there shouldn't be much stress on them with acclimating them whenever they're moved.
