I just noticed on of my prego females is pooping alot more that i ever seen her! could she be in labor??

Also she is acting very shy when i look at her.

It sounds like she's just been eating more. Does her back end look sort of square around where she poops? Does she look like she wants to be in a quiet spot away from the other fish?

i cant really tell and she is in the breeders net cause last nite she got picked on. I got a 2.5 gal tank with a under gravel filter will it work for fry and should i move her? it was my friends betta house but he got a 5gal.

A UGF would most likely be a death trap for the fry. I'd recommend either a sponge filter or a little HOB filter with fish net netting wrapped around the intake and held secure with a rubber band. The fry are so tiny and easily sucked into filters.

The 2.5g would be good to start the fry out in, but they'll need a 10g before long. Keep the bottom bare (for easier cleaning), but add caves and plants if you can for the fry to feel safer and have places to swim to for when they want to hide.
