I have several different kinds of fish, but the majority are platies. I've found two babies so far and I think they're platies. If they are how long should it take them to reach full size?

well, after a few months they should be out and about the tank(like maybe a few cms) then after that idk. i had some platy fry and its been 3 months since then. the little guy is only a cm or two now. they all grow at different rates so who knows? but from what ive heard they get to be big in about 6-8 months?

I think they'll keep growing some until maybe 8 or 9 months, but most of their growth is in the first 4-6 months. If the babies can grow in their own tank with room to swim and be fed 3 times a day, they'll grow faster.

What size would they need to be to be let back in the tank? My main concern is the adult platies...

Once they're big enough to not fit in the mouths of the larger fish, they can go back in. But they'll still need hiding places until they're closer in size.
