i have 8 platies now(one is still very small) and i wondered how many more can fit in my 29 gallon tank just incase my sunset platy has babies(i want to know if i should get a beeding net so i can keep them or if i should leave them be in the tank and see if any make it) i was thinking about this because shes been hanging out with the male alot


also, the baby platy thats 3 months old is about 1.5-2 cm , is this normal size? it moves freely about the tank and the other platies dont attack it much.

According to the fish profile on platys, they can grow up to 2 inches so I would say 14.

okay. i got some tetras instead of more platies, one of them(one of th eplaties that is) might be getting pregnant though... so i might have some fish for sale soon lol

They grow at different rates, so as long as they're eating and swimming normally, then I wouldn't worry about the little one.
