I have 4 platys in my tank, I had 5 but one of them has recently disappeared and I haven't seen her in 3 days. Anywho... I have a pair of m/f platys who seem to have hit it off, and the male won't let the other female platy that I have near his "girlfriend". Is that normal? I mean, I could understand if she was another male, the other male in the tank could care less tho, and it's the only fish he does this to.

Are you absolutely sure about genders?
Other than the other female actually being male, I can't think of anything.

I'm pretty sure the one being chased is female, she looks preggers, as does the one the male is paired with.
