Well my first question was going to be do platys get a gravid spot when they are pregnant. From reading the other posts it looks like they do.

So....my next question is how long from when you start seeing the spot until they give birth (average). A week...a couple of days? I noticed the spot on one of my rainbow platys the other day. It is not very dark but is becoming more defined every day. I can post pics if they would help.

I think some do and some don't. Our gold twinbar Platy never did when she was pregnant.
