Will Platys of 2 different types breed? I have a male blue coral and a female red platy and 10 fry from the blue coral and his partner which has since passed away. Will i get more fry from the blue & red mixing or am I going to need to have to remove him?

the red doesn't doesn't look it, the one that was pregnant died,she was quite fat, the red platy that i still have is slim, very slim.

the male blue knows I am not happy with him, he has gotten to hiding from me.
I have a total of 8 fry that are approx 1/4-1/2 " long and tonight noticed a few (3 or 4) smaller ones as well that were probably born before their mother died and just came out of hiding, they look a few weeks old.

I will have to figure out their gender soon and remove any other males I find

The blue platy we have in our tank has the "Mickey Mouse" marking on one side of her.

lol ditto! Male platy sees female platy and instantly he turns he hears Al Green, the lights turn down low, and he has one thing on his mind...
