hunchbacked platy

We have had our female platy for one year. She is in a 30 g tank w/ 7 other young female platys (her surviving fry from 3 "litters"), an albino cordy , and 6 neon tetras. She has suddenly developed a hunchback (drooping rear end) and is visibly thinner with a sunken-in look above the anal fins. She's eating, but not with gusto. . I cannot see any kind of spots, growths, discolorations, except her anus (I guess) looks kind of whitish and I have seen a thin, stringy white poop once. She's sluggish and mainly hangs out in the plants, ususally near the middle, occasionally near the bottom. When she swims it's with a waggle, like she's not using her tail. I feed them all a tropical flake mix and, a couple times a week, some frozen brine shrimp. I checked the water and everything was fine; I did normal tank maint & a 30% water change. Otherwise, I don't know what else to do. The other fish seem fine. Any suggestions? Here's a picture if I can upload it... Thanks

I would say google google google answers like hunchback fish info, or diseases that have symptoms of hunchback. Here is one thing I found it is interesting enough. http://en.allexperts.com/q/Fish-1472...chback-Red.htm Good luck. :]

Thanks fishlover1; after checking the link in your reply, I further googled "fish TB". After reading several articles/posts on the subjeccts, I came across one that lists a parasite as another possible cause (and sounds more like what my fish has):
http://www.fish-disease.net/diseases.htm
The parasite is called Camallanus. I will try treating it for that and see how things go.
