Hey gang... TODAY... Im the proud mom of 7 baby mickey mouse platies!
The fry are already eating and they are picking at the brown diatoms in the tank thats on the plants and ornaments.
Is it okay if the fry eat the diatoms? I know my otos love the stuff...

congrats on the cute little babies i think the diatoms will be fine for them.. probably quite good for their diet. can't wait to see pics of them.

Congrats! Yep, brown diatom will be fine (in my experience at least). My mollies grew up on them and seem OK!

Just a quick update gang... I now have 10 little guys... every day they just seem to pop up... its the funniest thing... I love it!
I tried to take pictures, but they are still to small... it looks like little white blobs on the picture. Iwill post em, once i get a good shot.
