pinkfloydpuffer's tanks

Here's a thread of all my tanks. I'll update it as things change, add new pics every once in a while, etc.

*UPDATED JULY 6, 2009*

Tank 1
Size: 80 gallons
Type: Brackish, SG 1.015
Inhabitants: 3 green spotted puffers (Garth, Pistachio, and Kiwi)
Water changes: 20-25% weekly
Filtration: Aquaclear 110
Heater: 2 Marineland Stealth
Substrate: oolitic sand
Air pump: Tetra Whisper 110
Products used: Prime, GarlicGuard
Food: snails, ghost shrimp, brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, bloodworms, plankton, mussels, krill, clams. *All frozen/freezedried foods are soaked in VitaChem*
Special note: hamster tubes for extra fun!

Tank 2
Size: 20 gallons
Type: Planted freshwater
Inhabitants: 1 dwarf puffer (Ambellina), 1 South American puffer (Elton), several ghost shrimps, various snails
Plants: Java fern, java moss, several different cryptocornes, water sprite, jungle val, compact hygrophilia, water wisteria, several different anubias, dwarf lily, and a few other plants that I've forgotten the name of.....
Water changes: 25-50% weekly
Filtration: Aquaclear 30
Heater: some heater I got with a used tank I bought since I fried my good one
Substrate: Eco-Complete
Products/natural additives used: Prime, GarlicGuard, Excel, Flourish, indian almond leaf
Food: snails, brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, bloodworms. *All frozen/freezedried foods are soaked in VitaChem*

Tank 3
Size: 10 gallons
Type: Planted Freshwater
Inhabitants: 4 female halfmoon bettas (Cambria, Solaris, Alyosha, and Eponine), 3 trilineatus cories (Corporal Clegg, Baba O'Riley, and unnamed cory), 1 rubberlip pleco (Danno), some snails, a few ghost shrimps
Plants: java moss, java fern, two different anubias, duckweed
Waterchanges: 30-50% weekly
Filtration: Whisper 10
Heater: TopFin
Substrate: EcoComplete
Products/natural additives used: Flourish, Flourish Excel, Prime, GarlicGuard, indian almond leaf, natural driftwood
Food: bloodworms, Hikari Bio-Gold betta pellets, algae wafers, spirulina discs, brine shrimp, sinking shrimp pellets

Tank 4
Size: 10 gallon
Type: Freshwater
Inhabitants: Turquoise/green halfmoon dragon male betta (зима), Turquoise/green halfmoon dragon female betta-which I suspect is actually a giant and/or plakat-(Grace), Silver/copper/lavender crowntail male betta (Snowstorm, aka Stormy), a few ghost shrimps (зима ate some of them....)
Plants: Java moss, java fern, hornwort
Waterchanges: 30-50% weekly
Filtration: Whisper HOB and Whisper internal
Heater: TopFin
Substrate: EcoComplete
Products/natural additives used: Prime, GarlicGuard, StressCoat+, indian almond leaf
Food: Hikari BioGold betta pellets, bloodworms, brine shrimp, mysis shrimp
Special note: divider to keep the bettas from ripping each other's guts out

Tank 5
Size: 5 gallon
Type: Freshwater
Inhabitants: a little cherry shrimp colony, the pond snail 'Captain Gerrard' and his little daughter 'Anastasia'
Plants: java moss and some other unknown moss...
Waterchanges: 50% weekly
Filtration: DIY makeshift sponge filter
Heater: TopFin
Substrate: EcoComplete
Products/natural additives used: Prime, GarlicGuard, natural driftwood
Food: bloodworms, algae wafers, sinking shrimp pellets

It's been too long since I updated this thread! And I thought I'd do so now since I moved and completely redecorated Volta and Moby's tank today since Winter isn't there anymore And I've seen some good plant growth in the DP tank, which I am quite proud of. Particularly in the hygrophilia and the dwarf lily plant.
