My pleco is making a big mess when he does his " business " and was just wondering the best way to clean all that up , was taking a net and going behind him , when he got done , it would float to the top ! Anyway any ideas , will vacumm , the vacumm i have doesn't seem to want to fit , will reach the front and that is it !

I do a vaccuum once a week because of how messy my pleco & Oscars are. That's really the best thing to do IMO

What do you mean it doesn't fit or it doesn't reach or there is decor in blocking it?

I just do a gravel vac when i do a parcal water change, once a week or everyother week. i move everything around so i try to get all of it, if i let it go for more than 2 weeks it gets really messy in there. my pleco is so used to me he doesnt even move he just watches me.

Sounds like you need a longer hose..Plecos are big ole messy pigs and I too think the best thing you can do to keep the tank clean is to vacuum often.

My pleco is also crazy messy, I just make sure to vaccum very well where they stay ( sence they each have their "home" in the tank and they hardly ever move).
