i have noticed lately that when im feeding the big tank the pleco tends to follow the bps and stick on to them ,the pleco is 8 inches and the bps vary from 4 iches to 7. if that was happening in the discis tank the pleco would be taking out because they have like a milky film which there fry feed off so i know the bps are a different kind of fish so what do you think..

It isn't too unusual (sadly) for common pleco's to develop a "taste" for the slime coat of other fish. Chinese algae eaters are better-known for the same thing when they get large and aggressive. Likely the pleco needs more protein in the diet, but it would be best to move it out in any case. Common pleco's will grow to 2' given proper care and suitable tankspace.
